Our Koh Samui escapade trip

It was kinda of a last minute plan that me and Rey decided that we wanna have a brief escape to Koh Samui. Both of us haven't been there before, so one day we decided to grab a flight ticket ( Air Asia Go ) and just head for our lil escape! In case you guys want to know how we managed to get to Koh Samui, here's how.. We took Air ASia flight direct from KL to Surat Thani. When we reached Surat Thani Airport, all we had to do was walked out the arrival hall, and went to the counter of a travel agent called 'Phantip'. There, we negotiated the price to get to Seatran Ferry en route via Shuttle Bus. Managed to get the tickets for both Shuttle Bus+ Seatran Ferry to Koh Samui for only RM50 each. Travelled with excitement and smiles 45 minutes to the Seatran Ferry jetty at DonSak Pier. From DonSak Pier we actually went on a Ferry ( just like the Penang ferry) to Koh Samui.

The ferry ride was great.. the sea was nice and felt like paradise.. Along the way, we could see few beautiful islands of the Siam. Magnificent..

When we reached Koh Samui, there was a holiday MPV waiting for us at the jetty. It took us to our resort " Seascape Beach Resort". Nice resort, located at the beach and has its own private beach, restaurants, pool .. and paradise.

Later at night, we loitered around the Chaweng Beach area, where there were pretty good nightlife and many night markets and souvenirs stalls. So many 'mat salleh', its like we were practically the ONLY ASIAN around. Even at our resort, we were the only Asian tourist. Haha.

The souvenirs were over price though.. and not much choices, but maybe we were at the expensive and elite tourist area of Chaweng. We, opted to just relax, relax, relax.. and enjoy our Koh Samui sea life..
which was very very mind refreshing.

On the 3rd day, we headed back to Surat Thani. Where we stayed there for 1 night and enjoyed the Surat Thani sight seeing and markets with the help of our tour guide friend who drives us around. hehe.
